| Update 2002. |
 |
My Koi
has settled in and I feel really happy but things can always
be improved. |
 |
I had wanted to correct
the way in which the water returns into the pond so that the
weir could work more effectively. I once again I dug up the garden
to lay some new pipes. |
 |
The system was shut
down for four days during this time and I did not feed the Koi.
I had also experienced low pH this is apparently due to the fibreglass
lining. In order to try and correct the pH I added a second Bio
Tube but filled it with Oysters shells as a buffer. |
 |
The system in now reconnected
and ready to run. The conversion went well except for the one
pipe that I did not seal properly as it enters into the pond. |
 |
My pond is somewhat
over stocked now, but never the less giving me much enjoyment. |
 |
A birds eye view of
the pond. I was lucky enough to return the two concrete chairs
I had bought a year early and exchanged them for two statues
that now keep a watchful eye on the Koi when I am not home. Keep
an eye on this page as I am sure to change something again. |
